Hair And Beauty Industries Greatest Opportunity For Business Growth – Health and Wellness Industry 

Reading a post from Richard Branson in Entrepreneur.com, Richard talks about all the resolutions people make, lose weight, getting fitter and living a healthier lifestyle – and he goes onto say health and wellness is one of the business sectors that he thinks is going through major change and offers the greatest opportunities for entrepreneurs.

The post then refers to many developed economies are struggling through some tough times, however the health and wellness sector proved to be resilient and some fast moving business are finding success.

This was partly because more people are becoming aware of the wider benefits of getting fit and partly because technology was revolutionizing the way they can track and record these benefits.

It was refreshing to read Richards post on the growing health and wellness industry. It is an area that has held my interest for some time, working in the Hairdressing Industry, can be a toxic environment, as well, several family members being impacted by degenerative diseases. They all have considerable lifestyle factors attached to them.

After reviewing many product ranges through the direct sales industry (nothing stood out to me with the standard health food stores) an extraordinary range of products are available to all. Many were great however the company follow up and plans let them down dramatically with me included.

For over 12 months I was hearing about this product called Nuskin.  but never took the step forward to investigate, it was price holding me back as well a friend was doing another range which I committed to trying (not good I could not stand many areas – on my skin, my hair) So I was back to buying from the chemist.

Till one day I was sitting in a salon getting my hair done…… not good!!. I was suddenly hit in the face with time – my time line. Yes it is moving on, your now a baby boomer and it is starting to show.

Well that was it Health and Wellness Industry you have another convert, I chased up my Nuskin person, became a consultant to buy my products wholesale  and now four weeks latter I am a very happy girl!!!

Now, also I am a coach and business builder and clearly see what Richard refers to with developed economies struggling. Small Business all around me are struggling but it does not have to be that way. Yes the business sector is going through major change the question is are you going to just sit on the fence and watch this change pass you by?

Hairdressers, Beauty, Fitness service people you are sitting on one of the greatest growth periods for you. The Health and Wellness Industry.  It is only getting stronger and stronger.
